MixCall Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

MixCall — Privacy Policy

Version 4.0 Effective May 19, 2026 Platform Android 18+ Contact v4andro@gmail.com

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information MixCall collects when you use our app, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it. MixCall is an adults-only platform (18+) operated by MixCall Team. By using MixCall, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app and discontinue use.

1. Introduction

Welcome to MixCall — a real-time video and text communication platform published by MixCall Team (“we,” “us,” or “our”). MixCall connects adults around the world through live video calls, random matching, and private text chat.

This Privacy Policy applies every time you install, access, or use the MixCall Android application. Please read it alongside our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, which together govern your use of the app.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to all features of the MixCall app, including live video calls, random video chat, text messaging, photo sharing, profile browsing, and any subscription or in-app purchase services processed via Google Play.

It does not apply to third-party websites or services linked through advertisements shown within the app. Those third parties operate under their own privacy policies.

3. Age Restriction — 18+ Only

MixCall is strictly for adults aged 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. During onboarding, users must provide their date of birth, and our system automatically blocks access where the calculated age is below 18.

🔞 If We Discover a Minor Has Accessed the App

We will immediately suspend and permanently terminate the account and delete all associated personal data. Parents or guardians who believe a minor has accessed MixCall should contact us at v4andro@gmail.com.

Google Play Age Signals API

🔑 Age Verification — Google Play Age Signals API

MixCall uses the Google Play Age Signals API to verify that users meet the 18+ minimum age requirement before accessing the app. Age signal data is used solely for access control — it is not stored by MixCall, not shared with any third party, and not used for advertising, analytics, or profiling.

4. Information We Collect

MixCall uses a guest-based account system — no email address, phone number, or social media login is required. The data we collect is intentionally minimal.

Information you provide directly

  • Display name — optional, shown to other users during conversations
  • Date of birth — required for age verification only; minimum age is 18
  • Gender selection — required for user matching preferences
  • Profile photo — optional, displayed on your profile
  • Chat messages and shared images — content you choose to send during text conversations

Information collected automatically

  • Device type, model, manufacturer, and operating system version
  • Unique device identifiers and Android Advertising ID (AAID)
  • IP address and approximate country or region (precise location is not collected)
  • App usage behaviour, session duration, and navigation patterns
  • Crash reports, error logs, and diagnostic data
  • Call session metadata — duration only; no call content is recorded or stored

Camera and microphone access

⚠️ Camera & Microphone — Important Disclosure

MixCall requests camera and microphone access solely to enable live video and audio calls during active sessions. We do not record video calls. We do not store or retain any audio streams. Camera and microphone access ceases entirely when a session ends.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

For users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we process your personal data under the following GDPR legal bases:

  • Contract performance — processing necessary to provide the core app services (matching, calls, messaging)
  • Legitimate interests — fraud prevention, security monitoring, abuse detection, and service improvement
  • Legal obligation — compliance with applicable law, including child safety reporting obligations
  • Consent — for advertising analytics via our SDK partners where required (EEA/UK users are shown a consent prompt before any advertising tracking is activated)

For users in other jurisdictions, processing is governed by applicable local law, including the CCPA for California residents.

6. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the service — matching users, enabling video and text communication, and delivering app features
  • Age verification — confirming users meet the 18+ minimum age requirement
  • Safety and moderation — detecting, investigating, and acting on Community Guidelines and Terms of Service violations
  • App performance — diagnosing crashes, analysing usage patterns, and improving user experience
  • Advertising — serving relevant advertisements through SDK partners using the Android Advertising ID (with consent where required)
  • Legal compliance — meeting obligations under applicable law, including responding to lawful authority requests
  • Fraud and abuse prevention — identifying and blocking policy violators

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for purposes incompatible with those listed above.

7. Third-Party SDKs & Analytics

MixCall integrates the following third-party SDKs. Each operates under its own privacy policy and may collect data independently.

Firebase (Google)Analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring. Privacy Policy →
Google AdMobIn-app advertising. Uses Android Advertising ID for ad personalisation where consent is given. Privacy Policy →
Meta Audience NetworkIn-app advertising. Operates under Meta’s data practices. Privacy Policy →
TikTok for BusinessAdvertising measurement and attribution. Privacy Policy →
CAS.aiAd mediation platform — manages delivery of ads from multiple networks. Privacy Policy →
ML Kit (Google)On-device face detection during live video sessions. Processing is local — no facial data is transmitted to or stored by Google or MixCall.

For EEA, UK, and Swiss users, a consent prompt is displayed before any advertising or analytics tracking is activated. You may withdraw consent at any time through your Android device settings.

8. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following circumstances:

  • SDK partners — data shared with the third-party SDKs in Section 7, strictly for the purposes described
  • Service providers — companies assisting app operation (hosting, infrastructure, analytics), bound by data processing agreements
  • Legal requirements — where required by law, court order, or lawful authority request, including law enforcement investigations
  • Child safety — suspected CSAM or exploitation cases are reported to NCMEC and relevant authorities as required by applicable law
  • Safety emergencies — where disclosure is necessary to prevent an imminent threat to life or safety
  • Business transfer — in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may transfer to the new entity subject to the same protections

9. International Data Transfers

MixCall operates globally. Your personal data may be processed in countries outside your own, including countries that may not have equivalent data protection laws.

For transfers from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland to third countries, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or adequacy decisions where applicable. Our third-party SDK partners maintain their own international transfer mechanisms.

10. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the service and meet our legal obligations.

  • Active account data — retained for as long as your account exists
  • Chat messages and shared images — deleted within 30 days of account deletion
  • Call metadata (duration) — retained for a maximum of 90 days
  • Crash logs and diagnostics — retained for up to 12 months
  • Safety and abuse records — retained for a limited period after deletion to prevent re-offending
  • Legal hold data — retained for the duration required by applicable law
📵 Live Call Content Is Never Stored

MixCall does not record, store, or retain video or audio from live call sessions. There is no call content to retain or delete.

11. Account Deletion

You can delete your MixCall account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and irreversible — because MixCall uses a guest-based system, deleted accounts cannot be recovered.

On deletion, your profile data, chat history, and shared images are permanently removed. A limited amount of data may be retained for safety, fraud prevention, or legal compliance as described in Section 10.

💳 Cancel Your Google Play Subscription Separately

Deleting your MixCall account does not cancel an active Google Play subscription. Cancel separately via Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → MixCall → Cancel. See our Delete Account guide →

We do not collect, use, or share personal data of minors for targeted advertising, algorithmic profiling, or any commercial purpose. If we discover that a minor has accessed MixCall, we immediately terminate their account and delete all associated personal data.

MixCall complies with the Louisiana Age Verification Act (Act 440). We use the Google Play Age Signals API and date-of-birth entry to confirm all users are 18 years of age or older before access is granted.

Age verification data is used solely for access control, is not retained beyond the verification process, and is not used for advertising or profiling. Louisiana residents may contact v4andro@gmail.com regarding these practices.

15. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. These include TLS encryption for data in transit, access controls on internal systems, and regular security reviews.

17. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

As a mobile application, MixCall does not use browser cookies.
