MixCall is intended exclusively for users aged 18 years and above.

  • The app is not designed for children or minors

  • We do not knowingly collect data from users under 18

We collect limited information necessary to operate and improve the app.

a) Information You Provide

  • Messages and interactions during live video or text chats

  • Feedback or support messages sent via email

b) Automatically Collected Information

  • Device information (device model, operating system, app version)

  • App usage statistics (feature usage, session duration)

3. Camera & Microphone Permissions

MixCall requires access to:

  • Camera – for live video calls

  • Microphone – for audio communication

  • Video and audio streams are real-time only

  • We do not record, store, or monitor calls on our servers


4. Chat Translation Feature

MixCall includes an optional chat translation feature to help users communicate across languages.

Translation Feature Details

  • Uses Google ML Kit Translation API

  • Downloads language models (~30MB per language) for offline use

  • All translation processing happens on-device

  • No chat or translated text is sent to external servers

  • Translation accuracy may vary depending on language and context

We do not collect, store, or transmit translation data.


5. How We Use Your Information

Collected information is used to:

  • Provide and maintain live video and chat services

  • Improve app performance, stability, and user experience

  • Detect spam, fraud, or misuse

  • Ensure user safety and enforce community guidelines

  • Analyze app usage trends for feature optimization


6. Advertising & Analytics

Advertising (CAS.ai)

MixCall uses CAS (Client-Side Ad Serving) for ads monetization.

CAS and its mediated ad networks may collect:

Ads are displayed in accordance with applicable laws and platform policies.


Analytics (Firebase Analytics)

We use Firebase Analytics to:

  • Monitor app performance and stability

  • Collect crash reports and diagnostics

Firebase collects data in an aggregated and anonymized form and does not access private chat or video content.


7. User-Generated Content & Moderation

  • User interactions occur in real time and are not permanently stored

  • Users can report inappropriate behavior directly in the app

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate our community standards


8. Data Storage & Retention

  • We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to operate the app

  • Temporary logs and diagnostic data are automatically cleared

  • We do not store video calls, audio streams, or translated messages
