MixCall- Community Guidelines/ Rules
Community Guidelines
The standards of behaviour that keep MixCall safe, respectful, and enjoyable for everyone
MixCall is a real-time video and text communication platform for adults aged 18 and older. These Community Guidelines define the standards of behaviour expected from every user. They exist alongside our Terms of Service — violating these Guidelines may result in immediate account termination. By using MixCall, you agree to uphold these standards in every interaction.
1. Who Can Use MixCall
MixCall is strictly an 18+ platform. Access by anyone under the age of 18 is prohibited, regardless of the date of birth entered during onboarding.
If you are under 18 years of age, you must not use MixCall. Accounts confirmed or suspected to belong to minors are permanently terminated immediately and all data is deleted. We cooperate with relevant authorities where minors are involved.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has accessed MixCall, contact us immediately at v4andro@gmail.com.
By using MixCall, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have full legal capacity to enter into agreements, and will comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
2. Core Principles
Every interaction on MixCall should be guided by these four principles. They underpin all of the specific rules below.
Treat every person you encounter as you would wish to be treated. Differences in gender, nationality, culture, or opinion are not invitations to demean or belittle.
All interactions must be consensual. Never pressure another user into conversations, activities, or content sharing they are not comfortable with.
Your safety and the safety of other users matters. Do not share personal information that could put you or others at risk, and use the in-app report and block tools freely.
You are solely responsible for everything you say, show, and share on MixCall. Violations have real consequences — from warnings to permanent bans.
3. Respectful Communication
MixCall connects strangers across the world in real time. How you communicate defines the experience for the other person.
- Greet users politely and introduce yourself if you wish to continue a conversation
- Respect the other user's decision to end a call or skip at any time — this is a normal feature of the platform
- Keep conversations within topics both parties are comfortable discussing
- Use the block feature if you encounter someone whose behaviour makes you uncomfortable
- Send unsolicited explicit messages or expose yourself without clear mutual agreement
- Use aggressive, threatening, or degrading language toward other users
- Persistently contact a user who has skipped, blocked, or shown no interest in engaging
- Impersonate another person, celebrity, or MixCall staff member
4. Prohibited Content & Behaviour
The following are strictly prohibited on MixCall at all times, in all features — live video calls, text chat, profile photos, and display names.
- Any sexual content involving minors — zero tolerance, immediately reported to law enforcement
- Non-consensual sexual content — sharing, requesting, or threatening to share intimate images of another person without their consent
- Hate speech and discrimination — content that attacks a person or group based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
- Harassment and cyberbullying — repeated unwanted contact, threats, intimidation, or coordinated targeting of any individual
- Violence and threats — threatening harm to any person, inciting violence, or glorifying acts of violence
- Nudity toward non-consenting users — exposing genitals or engaging in sexual acts during video calls with users who have not consented
- Spam and unsolicited promotion — advertising services, sending bulk messages, or redirecting users to external platforms for commercial purposes
- Fraud and scams — deceiving users for financial gain, soliciting money, gift cards, or financial information under false pretences
- Malware and harmful links — sending links or files designed to compromise another user's device or accounts
- Doxxing — revealing another person's private information (address, phone number, workplace) without their consent
- Animal cruelty or self-harm content — content depicting harm to animals or acts of self-harm
- Illegal activity — drug sales, weapons trafficking, human trafficking, or any other criminal conduct facilitated through the platform
5. Adult Content Rules
Because MixCall is an 18+ platform, consensual adult content between two verified adult users is not automatically prohibited during live video sessions. However, strict conditions apply.
- Consensual adult conversation and live video interaction between two willing adult users
- Mature themes discussed between users who have both clearly agreed to engage in them
- Adult profile descriptions that do not contain illegal content
- Any sexual content involving or directed at a minor — regardless of claimed age
- Exposing yourself without first establishing explicit mutual consent from the other user
- Sharing or requesting sexual content in global chat rooms or group features
- Explicit profile photos in areas visible to all users before a call begins
MixCall does not record, store, or monitor the content of live video or audio calls. You are responsible for your own behaviour during calls. If another user records a call without your consent, that is a violation of these Guidelines and may be illegal in your jurisdiction.
6. Privacy & Recording
Every user has a right to privacy during their interactions on MixCall. The following rules protect all users equally.
- Do not record calls. Recording another user's video or audio without their explicit, informed consent is a serious violation and may constitute a criminal offence in many jurisdictions.
- Do not screenshot or capture private chat content and share it outside of MixCall without the other user's consent.
- Do not share another user's personal information that they have disclosed during a private conversation, whether in public chats, on other platforms, or with third parties.
- Do not attempt to identify anonymous users. MixCall uses a guest-based system; many users choose to remain anonymous. Attempting to identify or expose an anonymous user against their wishes is a violation.
- Protect your own privacy. We strongly advise against sharing your full name, home address, phone number, workplace, or financial details with other users during calls or in chat.
7. Hate Speech & Discrimination
MixCall is a global platform serving users from every country, background, and identity. Hate speech in any form will result in immediate account termination.
Content that promotes, glorifies, or incites hatred, violence, or discrimination against any individual or group based on any of the following characteristics is strictly prohibited:
- Race, ethnicity, or national origin
- Religion or religious beliefs
- Gender or gender identity
- Sexual orientation
- Disability or health condition
- Immigration or citizenship status
- Socioeconomic background
This applies equally to content displayed in video, spoken during calls, written in text chat, used as a display name, or included in a profile photo.
8. Spam, Scams & Commercial Activity
MixCall is a personal communication platform, not a marketplace. Commercial use of the platform is not permitted.
- No solicitation. Do not ask other users for money, gifts, cryptocurrency, or any form of financial transfer.
- No advertising. Promoting external websites, services, products, social media accounts, or adult platforms through chat or video calls is prohibited.
- No phishing. Do not attempt to obtain another user's login credentials, financial details, or personal accounts through deception.
- No bot or automated behaviour. Using automated scripts, bots, or other automated tools to interact with users or abuse platform features is prohibited.
- No referral or pyramid schemes. Do not recruit users into multi-level marketing, investment schemes, or any activity requiring them to pay to participate.
9. Child Safety
The protection of children is our highest safety priority. MixCall operates a zero-tolerance policy for any content that sexualises, exploits, endangers, or facilitates harm to minors.
Any user found sharing, requesting, or producing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) will be permanently banned, reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant local law enforcement, and fully co-operated with in any resulting investigation.
Additionally, the following are prohibited regardless of intent:
- Grooming — establishing a relationship with a minor for the purpose of exploitation
- Sharing any content that sexualises minors, including written descriptions, images, or video
- Encouraging a minor to share images or engage in adult conversations
- Claiming to be a minor when you are an adult, for any purpose
For our full commitment to child safety, see our Child Safety Standards →
10. Reporting Violations
You play an important role in keeping MixCall safe. If you encounter behaviour that violates these Guidelines, please report it immediately using the in-app tools.
- Report during a call — tap the flag icon visible during any live video or text session to submit a report.
- Report a profile — visit the user's profile and select "Report" from the options menu.
- Block a user — use the block button at any time to prevent further contact from a specific user. Blocking does not require submitting a report.
- Email our safety team — for urgent concerns, especially those involving child safety or credible threats of violence, contact us directly at v4andro@gmail.com with the subject line "Safety Report".
The identity of users who submit reports is kept confidential and is not disclosed to the reported user. Submitting a report in good faith will never result in action against the reporting user.
11. Enforcement & Consequences
MixCall uses a combination of user reports, automated detection, and human review to enforce these Guidelines. Consequences are applied based on the severity and frequency of the violation.
Issued for minor or first-time violations. A formal notice is sent in-app, and the violation is recorded on the account.
Applied for repeated minor violations or a single serious violation. The account is suspended for a defined period, during which the user cannot access MixCall.
Applied for zero-tolerance violations — CSAM, credible threats of violence, repeated hate speech, or confirmed fraud. The account is permanently and irreversibly terminated. All associated data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Where a violation constitutes a criminal offence — particularly any violation involving child safety — MixCall will refer the matter to relevant authorities and provide all legally required cooperation.
MixCall reserves the right to determine the appropriate level of enforcement at its sole discretion. We do not guarantee advance notice before account termination where a serious or zero-tolerance violation is involved.
12. Appeals
If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, you may submit an appeal by contacting our team within 30 days of the enforcement action.
- Send your appeal to v4andro@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Appeal"
- Include your display name and the approximate date the action was taken
- Describe why you believe the action was applied incorrectly
Appeals are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We aim to respond within 14 days of receipt. Appeals against permanent bans issued for zero-tolerance violations (including CSAM) will not be considered under any circumstances.
13. Changes to These Guidelines
MixCall may update these Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes in our platform, community needs, or applicable law. When material changes are made, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify users through an in-app notice.
Your continued use of MixCall after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Guidelines. If you do not agree with any changes, you should discontinue use of the App.
